Mother's Day and Father's Day

It's always wonderful to celebrate these two special days with the kids. While it's nice to have some time to do something just for ourselves, it's more important for Dan and me to spend time with the two people that gave us our names of "mommy" and "daddy."

Oak Island

Well, sadly I've gotten further behind than ever before with our blog, so I thought I would at least try to get updated with photos of our adventures over the past several months!

In May, we got a chance to go to Oak Island with our great friends, the Liner Family. It was SUCH a fun and memorable trip and we're hoping to make it an annual thing!

The kids had a blast and are really showing how grown up they are getting by tackling the ocean and playing in the sand with no fear. If they could have, I think they would have slept on the beach :)

Last day of Preschool-Year 1

Oh, my....that went by in a flash. I SO remember dropping Luke and Olivia off in September and crying my eyes out at the thought of leaving them for just a few hours. Fast forward 8 mths, and they are celebrating their first year being done!

Ms. Shannon and Ms. Mary have been awesome teachers, and Luke and Olivia have learned so much. They truly did like going to school and seeing their friends, and I knew they were in good hands. Next year will be a big change as I will no longer walk them inside (they will do drop off) and they will be in separate classrooms. But for now I won't think about that. Instead, I'm going to enjoy the summer and this super fun age and time in our lives!!!
